The lighting made it hard to rest. Motion sensors in the kitchen and bathroom sometimes switched off while I was showering, and they also came on during the night. It seemed to happen when it was windy outside, though I don't understand why. There was a window between the bathroom and the bedroom, right above my head, with only a thin curtain, so the light kept startling me. I was also uncomfortable with the large picture of a naked woman on the wall. They don't know who will be staying, so I think the decor should be neutral and respectful to everyone. And the welcome email said I couldn't use the washing machine in another apartment in the same building. I already knew my own place didn't have one, so I didn't understand why they brought up the other flat. Communication mattered a lot to me, but replies took a long time and often didn't address what I was asking. To get into the building the first time, I had to call so they could unlock the door. What if I hadn't had a working phone in Austria? Plenty of foreigners don't.
