Aldano Apartments Vienna

Everything is within walking distance from this great spot in Vienna. We stayed four days, but this beautiful city really needs a week. The apartment was clean and spacious, and the manager was very helpful during our stay and afterward. I’d definitely come back.

A lovely little place, and the price seemed amazing given how expensive Vienna is. Looking at the map, it appears far from the center, but it’s only about a 30-minute walk if you don’t want to use the bus or metro, which are just around the corner. The no-contact reception was great: they send you a code for the gate and another for the box with your room keys and all the information. The neighborhood was quiet, and the location was great, only a few subway stops from the city center. Check-in and checkout were very easy. The main problems were the floors above us. They’re wooden, so we could hear every footstep, especially at night. It was clean enough, but some spots looked like they hadn’t been swept, which made me uneasy. The complimentary tea and coffee were nice, though one of the two sugar sticks had already been used. It was an okay stay, but it could be a lot better.

The apartments have everything you need, and the building is close to supermarkets and public transport. Guests handle the whole check-in and checkout process, but it went smoothly for us. The one thing missing was air conditioning. After a full day of sun, the apartments get relentlessly hot.
