Bright 2BR Apartment Near Westbahnhof

We left as soon as we arrived and never came back. The room door would not shut properly, which made the place feel unsafe and gave us no privacy. The room was cold, drafty, dirty, and far smaller than the photos suggested. Its bed rocked as if it might fall apart, the headboard was loose, and the badly stained mattress looked unhygienic. The whole building smelled of cigarettes, with ashtrays around despite the smoking ban. Shared areas, including the bathroom, were filthy and neglected; the toilet was dirty and the microwave jammed. The entrance and communal spaces looked run-down, and there were many suspicious people near the address, so we felt uneasy from the start. The accommodation did not match its Booking.com description or pictures. It felt like an extremely dirty rabbit hutch, and I would not recommend it.
