Central Apartment Lofts

The room was untidy, with hair everywhere, and flies were all over the hostel when we came in. There were two very loud, uncomfortable bunk beds with tiny pillows. I folded mine three times and it still barely felt like a pillow. Overnight, someone clogged the shared toilet and shower, and overflowing poop left a disgusting smell. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

My family and I lost most of our day in Vienna after finding bed bugs at Central Loft Apartments. We’d checked in and rested for just 1-2 hours when my mother started itching. All the beds were infested, and the bugs bit every one of us. My mother has an allergy and suffered severe injuries on her back from the bites. There was also only one fan for the whole room, and it barely worked. We contacted Booking.com right away. They said someone from the property would come inspect the room and help, but after two hours of waiting, nobody arrived. We had to move to another hostel, which disrupted our plans and ruined the day. The experience caused physical discomfort and wasted valuable travel time, and we were extremely disappointed by the property’s lack of response and support. I wouldn’t recommend staying at Central Loft Apartments. Don’t waste your money and nerves here.

It gets so hot in the room that staying more than one night feels impossible. The rooms are tiny, and the kitchen and bathrooms were really dirty. I can’t see how this room could work for four people.

Never again. We couldn’t get into the room, and the owner didn’t deal with the problem. You can’t lock the toilet either. Worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in.
