We stayed a couple of nights over Christmas with two friends, both 18, and were happy enough that we'd come back. The apartment was good value for the price, and the facilities were well stocked for a short stay, with pots, pans, and utensils. Cleanliness was middling, somewhere between clean and dirty. The location was handy for buses and trams, though the neighborhood felt run down and the building wasn't well maintained. There was a strong cigarette smell in the entrance, with cigarette butts outside the apartment.

The host was great and reachable if we needed anything, and the secure apartment felt safe. It's a studio in an old complex, with a small kitchenette, fridge, a regular bed, and a pull-out bed. The beds were decent. It was worth the money, though not amazing. There's no AC, so it gets hot, and the shower never gets very warm. I'd still recommend it despite the heat.

For a couple visiting Vienna, this apartment works really well. We came September 21-27 and found it cold inside. It took us two days to notice the door sat about 1 cm above the floor, letting the cold air in. We tucked a towel under it and used a small fan heater from the closet, which was handy. After that it was comfortable and everything was good. I feel a bit bad giving four stars, but I hope the host sees this and seals the door with a step or something.
