You can walk to many sights from this apartment, which is right in the center. There are two bakeries downstairs, a pharmacy up the street, and plenty of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, and other shops nearby. The apartment was also very clean and well kept. Even so, I can't rate it above two stars because of the problems during our stay. Our biggest issue was sleeping. The building is very old, and the single pane windows let in almost every sound from outside, even when shut. It was very hot, so closing them meant no airflow and a roasting room. Opening them brought in so much street noise that we barely slept. The fans provided didn't cool the rooms or help us sleep. The heat stayed in the apartment through the night. We also found it unsuitable for our baby. Between the heat and noise, she slept very poorly, despite usually sleeping through the night. Her bed's mattress seemed far too soft, and there was no baby chair, which made eating in the apartment difficult. The bedroom curtains didn't block much light either. The lift is very small. If stairs are a problem, you need a wheelchair, or you have a regular sized buggy rather than a travel buggy, I'd look elsewhere.

We had easy communication, clear instructions, and no problems getting in. They even let us leave our luggage before check-in, so we could explore without carrying it around. The flat is exactly like the photos and right in the center, about a five-minute walk from Stephansdom. It has a roomy kitchen and living area, a regular-sized bedroom, a big sofa bed, and another sofa that I think may convert to a bed. Four or five people could sleep here easily, and it seems ideal for families. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there's also a washing machine and ironing equipment. The metro is a minute away, with supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and a great bakery right downstairs. I'd recommend it and would stay again.

It was nearly 30 degrees inside when we arrived, and the only cooling provided was two very weak fans that barely worked. We spent the night sweating and couldn't sleep. It felt like a sauna, and we were suffering enough that we left early as soon as we could. The shower's hot water was acting strangely too. I'd strongly suggest finding another apartment, especially in summer, so you don't go through what we did.

The apartment was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. It's in the city center, just a minute from the metro. I would add another layer to the mattress and provide more pillows.
