Clarion Hotel Vienna South

Housekeeping found the necklace I’d left on the bedside table and handed it to the manager. It meant a lot to get back something so sentimental, and I was able to return a few days later to collect it. That kind of honesty matters enormously to me, and I’ll stay here again when I’m back in Vienna. The hotel was clean and up to date, the staff were very friendly, and breakfast was great. It’s also close to the city and convenient for getting to the sights. That loyalty says plenty.

I spent three weeks there, and the staff were amazing. Ali, Nada, Milan, Aleksander and the others were always smiling and ready to help us in all sorts of ways. It was the best hotel service I’ve had in years.

My husband accidentally left his gold chain in the room, but a careful housekeeping staff member found it and returned it safely, without any trouble. The hotel was comfortable, and we especially appreciated having such trustworthy, outstanding staff. We highly recommend it.

It’s a little way from central Vienna, though from an upper floor you can get a lovely view of the Alps and the city. The hotel itself was excellent, with friendly staff, spotless rooms, and great amenities. We also had a nice Christmas Eve dinner. It cost a bit more, but was worth it.
