Deluxe Apartment Vienna

We booked several weeks ahead for our Vienna trip, but our train was cancelled at the last minute. We found another one that would get us there during check-in hours, then that train was cancelled too. The next train wasn’t due until 3 am. I explained what was happening to the property, and they said I could contact one of the managers, Marija. Luckily I found a Flixbus that could get us in just before midnight. I also requested a late check-in between 23:00-00:00, and it was approved shortly afterwards. I messaged Marija to update her that we’d arrive closer to midnight, not 3 am, and to apologize for missing her calls earlier. I hadn’t realized she was calling. The conversation was anything but helpful. Marija said I should have used common sense and realized that the Austrian number calling was probably the hotel, since I had a booking. She also said she’d waited at the apartment and that it was rude of me not to arrive on time. Then she said, “check in ends at 22:00.” When I asked where we were supposed to sleep that night, she told me we could check in in the morning. We were left searching online for somewhere to stay. I agree with another review that the owners are rude and unwelcoming. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone hoping for a great trip.
