Domizil Wien - Cityapartments

We had a written agreement to see the rooms on the morning we arrived before booking, since the room offered earlier had been re-let. Then at midnight an email said there was no need to come because the room was already booked. Later, the restaurant asked for our full contact details even though no room had been offered. Because our situation was urgent, we asked again, but couldn't provide all our information when there was still no offer. They refused us. That seems like a rather questionable reading of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Getting around was easy, with public transport just around the corner and shops a short walk away. The apartment was nicely furnished and felt like home, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There isn't an elevator, though, so I had to haul both suitcases up to the second floor.

I've been here for weeks on a business trip and will be staying longer. The place feels cozy, with brand-new furnishings, and the housekeeper is always friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it!

For a short stay, the clean, modern apartment had everything I needed, including a little kitchenette. Being able to smoke or spend the evening in the garden was a nice bonus.
