Hotel Spiess & Spiess

I came to Vienna for two nights of work and booked a double, but they upgraded me to a suite without me asking. I didn’t need the extra room, but it felt like the kind of thoughtful thing they simply chose to do. The room was immaculate and quiet, everything worked and felt up to date, and check-in was automated with the key on my phone. They even had umbrellas for rainy weather and shoe polishers. Breakfast was simple, but the ingredients were much better than I’d expect at this price. My “weiches ei” was perfect every time. I don’t know if it’s family-run, but the place gave me the sense that someone really cares about its reputation. I’ll be back.

We had a wonderful stay in November 2025. Getting around was easy with public transportation close by, and there were several places to eat and shop nearby. The staff were kind and helpful, breakfast was great, and we especially liked the amenities in the lounge. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The room was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, and the place was spotless. Breakfast was high quality with lots of choice. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the sauna area was lovely.

The location made it easy to walk into the town center, with lots of interesting shops along the way. It’s not in a heavily touristy area, so it didn’t feel crowded or noisy. The hotel had a modern style but still felt cozy, and the staff were sweet and on top of everything. We didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. The small hospitality station at check-in made me think it would be high quality.
