H+ Hotel Wien

The bed and mattress were super comfy, though the pillow wasn't great. Rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was great, and the staff were lovely. It's an unexpected little gem in a residential area. I really enjoyed staying there. A fridge in the room would be nice, and since there's a kettle, mugs would be useful too. :)

The breakfast was very good, with lots of options, and the staff were really friendly. We found the neighborhood nice and relaxed, and a few tram stops nearby made it easy to get to the main sights. The room was clean and had almost everything, though our room option didn't have a refrigerator. Fair price for what's offered.

The room had a constant damp smell that got into the towels and sheets. Since the first cleaning only happens after the second night, I was already sleeping in musty bedding by then. I'm sure the team would have helped if I asked, but getting back at midnight and having to request fresh sheets was the last thing I wanted to deal with. The location is really good, in a quiet, historic neighborhood, and the staff were generally friendly. Breakfast was pretty mediocre, with little variety and too much salt in everything.

It's a really nice, budget-friendly hotel, with clean rooms and staff who are very helpful. You can't really walk to the city centre, but it's very easy to get there.
