H2 Hotel Wien Schönbrunn

We spent three days here and wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is modern and cozy, and our room was nice. It's by a metro line that gets you to the center in 15 minutes, with a shopping center next door that's really useful. It can be a little busy at night, but we had a very exciting stay.

The location is excellent, right beside a metro station with direct service to the city center. Staff were attentive and helpful, especially when making sure we got the right accessible room. We stayed for 3 nights in May, and everything was very clean and had modern facilities. As a wheelchair user, I found the room well equipped and easy to move around in, with plenty of space in both the room and bathroom. The bathroom was perfect for our needs, and it was convenient to have accessible toilets in the hotel hallways. Breakfast was simple but offered enough variety to start the day well. If I come back to Vienna, I'd choose this hotel again. Highly recommended for wheelchair users.

The metro is directly in front of H2 Hotel Wien Schönbrunn, and the hotel offers bunk bed rooms for groups of more than two. We stayed from January 16 to January 20, 2026, as two adults and one child. The place is new, clean, and well maintained, with modern, tidy rooms and common areas. Breakfast was served in a bright, clean space. There wasn't a huge selection, but the quality was good. One drawback was the room heating, which wasn't sufficient during our stay. On our last morning, January 20, 2026 at around 07:45, our child didn't want to come to breakfast, so we wanted to take a sealed yogurt to give him later. A slim female staff member with light-colored eyes at the restaurant entrance insisted we'd have to pay extra and wouldn't let us take it, even though breakfast was included for three people. We respect hotel rules, but that felt inflexible over one sealed yogurt, especially at a Wyndham-affiliated hotel. We were satisfied overall, though the incident left a slightly negative impression.

Our school trip was supposed to be fun, but this hotel ruined it. The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained from the start, and there was no cleaning service during our stay. Even basic toiletries were never restocked. The noise rules were excessive and enforced without checking complaints. We were charged €500 for supposedly having a party in our room, though we weren't even there at the time. Staff ignored the facts and refused to discuss it. It honestly felt like they were looking for excuses to charge us extra.
