Hotel Columbia

There was plenty of space for five people, and the apartment had good amenities. The lift up to the apartments was very handy for mobility issues or luggage. The biggest issue was the lack of wifi, so we had to rely on public wifi in the hotel, which wasn't great while travelling with kids.

From the entrance, you'd never guess what a special place it is inside. Great value, a lovely location and friendly staff made our break in Wien memorable. Thoroughly recommend it!

We could relax in these spacious apartments after busy days exploring the city. They're in a beautiful, typically Viennese house near the city centre, with great public transport connections. Amazing stay!

Columbia is on the first floor of a residential building in a quiet, pleasant neighbourhood. The old town is within walking distance, with very little traffic noise reaching the room. Our room was spacious, with a large bathroom and a glass sliding door. The staff were very helpful, and we had no trouble with late check-in or check-out. There was no A/C, but the large fan kept the room comfortable in early August. A kettle and fridge would have been nice at this level of stay, but we didn't have either. Maybe they were available in the common space, but no one mentioned or showed us. Columbia offers discounted parking in the underground car park five minutes away. To use the discount, enter like any other customer and take a ticket at the gate. Then get an extra ticket from the hotel and use both tickets at the car park machine when you leave. Remember to take the first ticket with you when you go back to the car.
