House of Ble

We stayed in the suite with our two teens, and it was incredibly comfortable and spacious. The young staff were friendly and professional, and went out of their way to help us enjoy the stay. Breakfast was a buffet with all the usual choices, though there are also plenty of great restaurants nearby if you want to eat out. A spar supermarket a few doors up was handy. The hotel was well priced for the standard, and we’ll definitely return. It’s a small contemporary place near public transport, high street shops, museums, and the aquarium, all within walking distance.

The decor and furniture are stylish, and the hotel is close to the cultural areas. Karlsplatz and the U4 underground are about an 8-minute walk away. Our room got quite hot, so we found we needed the AC. Just contact reception on WhatsApp to have it switched on. The House of BLE, Beautiful Life Experiences, is a good hotel.

The staff were welcoming and really friendly, and we loved the large, spotless room with its modern design and comfortable feel. The hotel is right across from popular attractions and only steps from the shopping street on Maria. One small odd thing: our balcony faced another balcony, so we usually kept the curtains closed. It wasn’t a big deal for us. We had a great stay and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna.

The room was modern, spacious, and comfortable, with good storage, lighting, bathrobes, slippers, a Smart TV, and complimentary water topped up daily. Cleaning was very good too. Our balcony looked into an inner courtyard, which didn’t bother us since we were out most of the day and didn’t need a view at night. The location is excellent for walking to many main attractions, with metro and tram stops close by and a supermarket nearby. Heating was the main problem, and it kept this from being a four-star stay. At first we were told the underfloor heating worked, but later another receptionist said it wasn’t working on the 3rd and 4th floors and they were trying to fix it. The room never got properly warm. The unit in the room only had cooling mode, so reception had to turn the heating on for us. We messaged them several times a day, in the morning, afternoon, and at night, asking them to raise the temperature. That became a nuisance. The staff were friendly and tried to help, but seemed inexperienced, and the service might feel limited if you’re used to more complete hotel services. Our room also wasn’t ready when we arrived at 14:45. They couldn’t say when it would be, so tired after our trip, we went sightseeing and came back about an hour and a half later, by which time it was ready. It wasn’t a major issue, but having no estimate was disappointing. There’s only one elevator, and at busy times it took a while, so we sometimes used the stairs. We were on the third floor, luckily. The room and location are very good, but the heating and some service details need work for a comfortable stay.
