The lobby and rooftop are beautiful, and for the location and price the hostel is very good value. I do wish there were free plain and detox water in the lobby, like at Jo & Joe Budapest. Almost all the lobby facilities cost extra, and even luggage storage after checkout is charged. I understand that's the business model, but it does make the low room price feel like it comes with a reason.

I felt very safe traveling solo and staying in the four-bed women-only dorm for a couple of nights. The location beside the train station is excellent, and the price is reasonable for what you get. The dorms are modern and chic, the shared spaces look great, and it was fun seeing down into IKEA while eating. The lower bunks have blackout curtains that give good privacy and block light, and somewhat reduce noise. I also liked the hooks and the little curtained changing area. The bathroom was tiny and short on places to put things. A shelf below the mirror and another in the bathroom would help, since toiletries currently have to balance on the sink or sit on the shower floor. The shower temperature kept swinging from painfully hot to too cold, about every 20 seconds. It wasn't intuitive at first how to turn it on and off or adjust the temperature. They supplied a bathmat but no hand towel, and providing one would make a real difference without much extra effort. For luggage storage after checkout, I found another company that was cheaper. The lockers behind reception and the bar weren't competitively priced, and it was disappointing since other hostels offer storage free. Breakfast was okay but not great, and I regretted paying for it. I'd rather have spent a couple more euros on a nicer breakfast out in Vienna. I liked the vibe and would stay again, though there are several things they could improve.

The fifth floor is open to the public, and the door between the common area and guest rooms seems to open for anyone without a key card. I didn't sleep well, feeling unsure about the security. The kitchen setup was also barely useful: one kettle, one microwave, and two small fridges shared across two floors, with no pots, stove, or basic spices beyond salt. It felt like a nudge toward the overpriced in-house restaurant. And if you want to leave your bags after checkout, only paid lockers are available. The smallest costs €10 for 24 hours. That feels like paying a vending machine for peace of mind.

The reception people were welcoming, the bathrooms clean, and the sleeping rooms quiet and dark. Everything was on point, and it was very cheap. Honestly, the best hostel experience I've had. I only wish I'd spent more time in the living room.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. The staff were really kind and helpful, and the bedrooms and shower were comfortable and lovely. I did feel a little fomo seeing that the lower bunks had curtains for extra privacy and to block the light.
