River Lodge

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The modern interior, comfortable bed, refrigerator, and nearby jogging track are positives. But the room was dirty and smelled of mold. There was no toilet paper, no outlet in the bathroom, and only an overhead shower, without a regular handheld one. Reception staff don’t seem to arrive until after eleven in the morning, so there’s nobody to hear complaints before then. Without a car, the location is inconvenient, and public transport is far away.

Whether you’re planning a stay or arranging an event, this place has a charming feel, a convenient location, and a scenic setting.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and happy to answer questions. The location by the river Dunes is lovely, and parking is free. Excellent service and real value for money. Highly recommend for couples and families!

We stayed one night, and it suited us well as a quiet place to rest while passing through Vienna. The Danube River is nearby, with a path along it, and the area is very quiet. The rooms are nice and spacious, and some bathrooms are large too. Staff were friendly, and there’s free coffee in the mornings. Parking is huge and free. It’s not close to the city centre: public transport takes around 45 minutes, while driving takes about 20. The main entrance locks after midnight, and you have to use the secondary door with your room key. It might not feel very welcoming in winter, but could be lovely in summer. For one night, it was just right.
