Starlight Suiten Hotel Salzgries

The handwritten welcome note in our room was such a personal touch, and it made my family and me feel really appreciated. Everything went smoothly, from the quick, friendly and helpful service to the easy check-in and check-out. Breakfast was good too, and we had no complaints. The hotel is in a great spot, in a beautiful Vienna-style building with lovely interiors. Our room was huge. We felt it was worth every penny, and we'd highly recommend it.

We stayed four nights and really liked how quiet it was at night. The room was clean, with fresh-looking decor, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was really good, and the garage was a cool feature. The location was hard to beat, with lots of sights and bus stops within walking distance.

Our room was newly renovated and very spacious, and the staff were kind and helpful. There was meant to be a microwave in the room, but it hadn't arrived yet. At checkout they asked us to pay 100€ more than our booking price. We showed the confirmation, and they corrected it straight away. Luckily my boyfriend caught it, because I hadn't noticed. Without that mix-up, I'd have given the hotel five stars.

Most rooms are suites, so this seems like a good option for small families. Ours had comfortable beds, a nicely sized bathroom, a small kitchenette, and an in-room fridge and bar. Restaurants are nearby, and the hotel is centrally located. By European standards, it was nice, though the rooms felt a bit dark and could use a better view.
