We stayed in a room on the second floor, with a terrace where breakfast came with a view of the lake and Carinthian mountains. The house was peaceful and tucked away from the streets, with a little chapel nearby. I was there with my girlfriend a few years ago, and I still remember that view and the lovely time we had.

The lake and mountain views, easy access to the water, and all the hiking options made our few days there really relaxing. We had such a lovely stay, thanks in large part to the genuinely friendly hosts. We’ll be back.

A clean little place in a good spot. The room’s furnishings felt like something from a 1975 guest room, and the internet was barely there.

We never got as far as taking the holiday. Our first inquiry was enough to put us off: nobody answered the email, and our details were apparently passed along without our knowledge to an outrageously expensive accommodation provider. Days later, that provider spammed us. Outrageous. Stay away!

The owners were very nice and always ready to help. It’s a really quiet spot, and the view is great.
