Limehome Villach Kirchenplatz

Getting to the rooms means climbing several flights of stairs, and the church clock is loud enough to wake you from 6 a.m. Bells ring every 15 minutes from 6 to 22. The pillows were really bad, and there was just one dishwasher tablet plus one small and one larger towel per person. The TV was a joke: satellite service, but only a few German channels worked out of more than 1,000, and casting didn’t work either.

Comfortable, good value, and very central. Getting inside was a bit complicated, especially when tired from traveling. Still, I’d choose it again.

It’s central and within an easy walk of supplies and the train station, but the toilet and bath design feels cheap and badly laid out. The room specific internet was cumbersome for Limehome to manage: I came across old logins, and the router was set up as an access point for another room. For what’s provided and usable, I found it a little overpriced.

Fantastic for the price, about 70 euros, like a three star hotel room. The apartment had a complete kitchen with a cleaning machine, coffee machine, washing machine, oven, kettle, fridge, and freezer, plus a bathroom and a huge TV.
