We’ve enjoyed staying here twice. The owners are friendly, the rooms are nice, and breakfast is good. There’s free parking right in front of the building.

There’s a restaurant and plenty of huts nearby, but no regular local services like a grocery store or pharmacy, so plan for that. The house itself feels warm, friendly, and peaceful, and it’s very clean with a lovely scent from the aromas. Breakfast is generous and good value. The owner knows the region well and is friendly, with useful advice about hiking routes and seasonal weather. Nearby Reichenstein and Polster are both worth a visit.

The location is excellent, just a few meters from the slope, and there’s a place to store ski gear and dry boots. It’s a very nice, clean pension with friendly staff and a really good breakfast. I can only recommend it.

The hosts are excellent and speak Hungarian. In winter, the place is right at the top of the ski arena.
