Pension Talblick

The food and service were very good, and the staff were super friendly. But the state of the room dragged down what could have been a very good rating. The bathroom door was broken, the sofa was falling apart with every spring noticeable, and the bed left me waking up in pain. The single mattresses slid apart, leaving a “Grand Canal” between them after a short while. The curtains were torn. The room, or really the building, is older, but that wouldn’t matter if the furnishings were properly maintained. Parking was listed as free when we booked, but we still had to pay. The room’s condition alone is enough to justify the low rating.

The location is excellent, with lakes, hiking trails, and other things to do nearby. The price is good and the amenities are perfectly adequate. If you want breakfast, you can have it at the hotel next door.

I’ve stayed there four times already, and I’ll definitely come back again.

The rooms are quite small, but the pension complements the hotel well. The location is good, with a nice view of the valley, and the service at the hotel next door was nice.
