Haus Birgit

The hosts were so helpful and friendly, and they even had delicious homemade bread waiting for us when we arrived. They quickly took care of anything we asked for. There was plenty of room in the apartment for my family: my husband, our 5-year-old, our baby, and grandma and grandpa. The living room was big enough for separate play corners for both kids. In the garden, the little playground has a slide, swing, sandbox, and a big trampoline. My eldest loved playing there every afternoon. The location worked really well for us. A small lift with a ski school is less than a 5-minute walk away, and my eldest learned to ski brilliantly in just 3 days. There’s a medium-sized ski area about 10 minutes away in the other direction, and we drove around 30 minutes each day to our favorite, the Wilder Kaiser. There’s also a free bus to the ski area in Kössen. For Walchsee, you can take the free bus or stroll to the shops, Spar and Billa, and the lake. Right outside the house there’s a little hill for sledding, another playground, and some horses you can pet. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely come back. 😃
