The restaurant is good, and the locally made beer was one of the best. The place is very clean and close to the airport. Take light.

The staff were friendly, and the homemade sweets were delicious. I especially liked the goulash and other traditional food.

The staff were as pleasant as the hotel is charming. I’d happily book here again.

It’s only about a 10-minute drive to Salzburg, and my family and I recommend this beautiful, clean hotel. The decoration is remarkable, especially for a place that’s around 300 years old. The staff were friendly.

I used to look forward to every visit to Alleberger, which I’d come to about 40 times a year. It was my favorite authentic Austrian place outside Salzburg, quiet inside, with very friendly staff and a bus stop right there for a €5 round trip into downtown. Update 7/17/22: the restaurant has changed to a self-service buffet. The traditional Austrian restaurant atmosphere is gone, along with table service and the friendly wait staff. It’s lost its place in my heart as a true Austrian gem.
