Josef and the staff made us feel very welcome, and the Austrian hospitality was warm throughout our two-night cycling trip. The room was large and comfortable, though a little dated. The local hotel also served excellent food and drinks. I’d come back.
I’ve stopped here for lunch twice, and both the food and service were excellent. It looks pretty ordinary from outside, but inside there’s a beautiful old building. If you’re nearby, it’s well worth a stop. I’ll be back.
We only tried the restaurant and didn’t stay at the hotel. The menu has plenty of good options, and the food was very good. The rumpsteak was especially excellent, and the price was fair.
Pretty cool.
There’s plenty of parking, the seating is comfortable, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Then the food arrived, and what great value for money. It was genuinely Michelin-star quality. Classics like Wiener Schnitzel and Zwiebelrostbraten tasted just like Grandma used to make. Absolutely fantastic, and we’ll be back soon when Rusty performs at the Bachschmiede. See you soon!
