Haus Wallis Pension

This was the worst communication experience I've had. The woman in charge, who I contacted by email and WhatsApp, was very unprofessional and would take hours or even days to reply. The website had so many bugs that I couldn't book by myself, so I reached out on WhatsApp. I asked her to send payment details, but she ignored me. I emailed too, and again she didn't respond when I asked her to confirm the reservation and send the payment information. Jessica Lemic, you are so unprofessional! I wasted three days waiting for a reply.

Breakfast is served right next door, and it was very good, with everything you could want. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom is too. I found the mattresses just right, not too hard or soft. Everything was clean, and the sauna area was what I'd expect for this price range. The gondola is only a two-minute walk away, and the ski run ends there. There's Wi-Fi, and although there isn't an on-site contact person, you can get the keys from a key box using the number provided. I highly recommend it, even though we stayed just one night.

We've stayed in lots of vacation apartments in Austria, most right by the ski lifts, and this was by far the worst value for money. The price is far too high for what you get: low ceilings, cheap furniture, broken and worn things, incomplete furnishings, cold white lighting, and a toilet practically in the bedroom. Who thought that was a good idea?

We rented the apartment for two families and were very happy with it. There was plenty of room, with three bedrooms, a big living area, and a huge kitchen where eight adults could sit comfortably. Having three toilets was especially handy. The place was clean and well kept, and the bedrooms felt fresh and cozy. The kitchen had all the dishes, pans, pots, and a dishwasher we needed. The sauna was a real highlight. It was already heated from 3 pm, making it perfect for unwinding after hikes on the beautiful Alpine trails or a session of ice skating. Highly recommended!
