We loved being able to start hiking trails right from the accommodation, with restaurants and a Spar supermarket also within walking distance. In peak season, it's best to reserve restaurants ahead of time. The private beach is a highlight, just a short walk away, and each apartment has its own sun loungers. Bread rolls arrived fresh in a bag on our door every morning, and milk was included free of charge. Our apartment had everything we needed and felt modern. The large bathroom and balcony overlooking Lake Weissensee were especially lovely. The mattresses were too soft for us, but when we asked, they quickly brought two more so we could make them firmer and sleep better. We spent a wonderful week here in mid-August 2022. Ms. Kolbitsch was warm and very empathetic, and we felt comfortable throughout. We can definitely recommend the accommodation and would love to return. Thank you for everything! The location works really well for hiking and mountain biking, and the free use of a rowboat at the private beach is the icing on the cake. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. Our apartment was newly renovated, spotless, and had everything we needed.

We had a lovely landlady who shared great tips and brought fresh bread rolls and delicious milk every morning. The holiday apartment was beautiful and very well equipped, with a private beach just a short walk away. It's a perfect base for excursions. We'll be back.

The bedrooms were modern and newly renovated, and the living room was nicely furnished too. The apartment itself was fine, with an essentials-equipped kitchen that included a dishwasher and microwave. The landlady brought fresh rolls and milk every morning. With small children, though, we'd choose somewhere else next time. There's no play area for younger kids, and the house is right on the main road, so we didn't feel comfortable letting our 3-year-old play outside unsupervised. Haus Garz has lake access with rowboats, about a 5-10 minute walk across the main road. The beach area has a swing and volleyball court, but the water gets deep steeply, so it isn't suitable for small children. The rear terrace is right beside the parking lot and wasn't especially comfortable. The apartment was decent, but those things made it less suitable for us as a family with little kids.
