The lake is just 100 m away, and they gave us the Erlebnis Pass mobil + for our stay. Our room was practical, warm, cozy, and extremely clean, as was the bathroom. There were complimentary drinks, even a little bottle of Jägermeister, plus toiletries. The room also had useful details on local events, activities, business hours, and restaurant launch times. Staff were warm and helpful. The breakfast buffet was superb. Austrian food usually isn't to my taste, but everything was delicious, especially the exquisite homemade fruit preserves!!!

We booked a room and got upgraded to a family apartment with a kitchen, two bedrooms, and a stunning lake view. Everything was clean and in perfect condition, and the staff were extra friendly. Breakfast was included, with a good variety: cornflakes and muesli, salami, cheese, tomatoes, jams, honey, coffee, tea, eggs, and fresh bread. In winter, the Weissensee guest bracelet lets you ice skate and cross-country ski for free. There's also free night sledging from Naggler Alm, about an hour's walk to the top. During the day, the lift costs 10 euros and sledging costs 8 euros. Absolutely awesome, ten stars!

We got a warm welcome and appreciated the care with the details, especially at breakfast, which was amazing. This family-run place has beautiful mountain and lake views. I'd highly recommend Pension Mitterer if you're in the Weissensee region.

This was our second stay at Haus Mitterer, and we highly recommend it. The owners are kind, flexible, and just lovely people. The house is in one of the most beautiful spots at Weissensee. A few metres away is the place where an important scene from the James Bond film living daylights was shot on the frozen lake.
