Familienhotel Stefan

The kids had a great time with the Kids Club activities, and we enjoyed the challenging hikes around the Pitztal region. There are also plenty of family outings within a 30 minute drive. The buffet had a fantastic range of food, while the pool and sauna were a real highlight. It made for a balanced, stress-free holiday. We'd come again!

We would have stayed longer if we'd had the room we booked six months ahead. It had two separate sleeping areas, but was mistakenly given to someone else. The owner was very solution oriented and offered us a choice: stay in the available room at a discounted price, or go to another hotel he found about 30 minutes away by car. We chose the other hotel. The room was okay, with a beautiful view, but it was close to the main road and noisy. A neon light on the small balcony stayed on until around 2am. We had to shut the shutters to block it, but then there was no fresh air. There was no a/c or ventilation system, and the room felt a bit too warm at night. The mattress was hard, which suited me but was a little too hard for my wife. We didn't use the kinder club, though it looked nice. Pitz park's swimming pool was a 3 minute walk from the hotel, and entry was included in the all-inclusive deal. Parking in front of the hotel was limited, and some guests parked at the pool instead. Behind the hotel, a 2 minute walk away, there's a nice private playground with a trampoline, rope slide, swings, sandbox, slides for small and older kids, a wooden castle, and an artificial river with wooden dams to play with. Dinner and breakfast were good, and the staff were friendly and smiling.

The bedroom view was stunning, and there were so many activities and facilities for children. Great service and excellent food too. Best family hotel in Austria, just stunning and adorable!
