The wood throughout the building gives the place a warm, welcoming feel, and the beds are comfortable. Our six-bed suite had its own bathroom, plus a little kitchen in the living room with a microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. Everything was very clean and the furniture was modern. You can grill on the small patio, use the shared hostel kitchen, or pop into a really nice pub nearby.

I only looked farther away because I hadn't realized the ski world cup was opening when I planned to see the "007 Elements" exhibition in Sölden. That search led me to the "Rutsche", and what seemed like a compromise turned out to be exactly what I wanted. The location is beautiful, the place was in better shape than I expected, and the kitchen was better equipped than my own. You can feel the care and attitude throughout. I'll book again next time I'm heading south to the Alps.

This was easily our favorite stay of the holiday. The owner was so friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen equipment was high quality too.
