The mountains looked incredible from the room, and supermarkets were nearby. The whole family were kind and ready to help, and the room was clean and warm. Such a nice experience with lovely, welcoming hosts. We’ll come back.

The owner was so friendly and had plenty of useful tips, and breakfast was good. The mountain views were hard to beat. Hochzeiger, the closest ski area, is about a 15-minute drive, with other resorts nearby too. There’s only one room, though, so getting a winter booking may be tricky.

That fantastic breakfast is one of the reasons we keep returning for long weekends, year after year. The room is clean and practical, with a balcony. The bathroom is on the small side, but perfectly usable, and the quiet setting suits anyone looking for peace. Most of all, the hostess makes us feel so welcome. Already counting down to next year.

For the price, this cozy place in such a special location is excellent value. We enjoyed staying with a lovely family, and the breakfast felt personal and was excellent. Pets are welcome, though a large dog probably won’t fit in the room. It’s around 20 square meters, with a tiny bathroom and balcony access. The balcony is shared with the Huber family, but that was no issue for us.

We stayed with the Huber family for three days over Carnival 2022, and it was a blast. From the spotless rooms and really comfortable beds to the excellent breakfast, everything was great. The hosts were so nice, the valley and Hochzeiger views were superb, and the ski area is close by. We thought the price was excellent for what we got.
