Apartment Landhaus Buchner

The owner family were always friendly and around to help us. There are gorgeous views from the porch and balconies. I promised I'd tell other Korean families about this place, and I've started doing that :) Thanks for your hospitality to our family.

We'd stayed in other places in Zell am See, both downtown and near this apartment, and this one is the winner. The hosts are very friendly, the apartments are large and clean, and the location is great for skiers. Piste no. 7 is just 50 meters away, and you can ski back to the hosts' yard straight from the piste. There's a ski room with boot dryers and direct access from the yard. A multi-car garage under the building means no clearing snow in the morning. The bus stop, about 80-100 meters away, takes you to the upper lifts in the valley if you'd rather avoid the lower lift under Piste 7. We always managed to avoid the queues at the lower lifts, which weren't there at the top. The bus also goes to town. Our apartment had three rooms and a bathroom, and the rooms were much bigger than they looked in the photos. Both bedrooms had comfortable double beds, lots of cabinets, hangers and wardrobes, and two safes in the closet. There was a TV in each bedroom and the living room, plus a sofa bed for two more people. The living room also had two armchairs, a coffee table, and a table for six. Each room had a large balcony with mountain and valley views. The bathroom had a shower, two sinks, and a toilet. The kitchen, part of the living room, had everything we needed, including a microwave. The only thing we missed was a bread bin for fresh bread, which the hosts deliver in the morning if you order it on the form. Highly recommend this spot.

We felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The modern apartments have a great kitchen and bathroom. It's a handy location, within walking distance of Zell am See and the Schmittenbahn valley station. The Zell-Kaprun summer card is included as well, with access to all the mountain lifts.

I came from Abha, Saudi Arabia, to tour Austria and was a bit apprehensive about this accommodation. I swear, though, it's beautiful, and the family is respectful, clean, and cooperative. God willing, if I visit the country again, whether on my own or with family, this will be my first choice. It is a bit expensive. You stay in the same house as the family, with them on the first floor and your apartment on the second, like the English system. It's really amazing.
