We really appreciated how clean Appartementhaus AURUM was, and the location made exploring easy. It’s right in the center, near Lake Zell and the local attractions. The summer cards were another big plus, giving us free access to various activities and making it easier to enjoy the area. The receptionist is usually there only in the morning, but she was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The property has no air conditioning, though the weather in Zell Am See was pleasant enough that we didn’t miss it. There’s a sauna in the Appartment itself, plus washing and dryer machines. They cost extra, but worked well. I’d recommend it to families looking for somewhere clean, comfortable, and well located.

The apartment was clean and had a wonderful view, and there are plenty of nearby activities to try. The receptionist was really nice and cooperative, but only worked certain hours in the morning. There’s no AC, and I found the price very expensive.

Lena was extremely kind and helpful with the reservation and during our stay. The apartment’s Summer Card partnership also saved us time, effort, and money on tickets for major attractions and public transport. The place was clean, comfortable, and conveniently close to Lake Zell, good restaurants, the bus stop for Kaprun, and the railway station. The kitchen was fully functional and especially useful for a longer visit, with a dishwasher, microwave, utensils, and coffee machines. Having a sauna in the bathroom was a nice extra.

We waited three hours to check in, and for 6 nights at 1962 euros + city tax per night per person, it just wasn’t worth the price. The location is good and the apartment is not bad, but it’s in an old building and having no air conditioning in July was unpleasant.

Very clean and comfortable, and just a short distance from the lake. Amazing place.
