We had a lovely, cozy stay, and the host was really friendly. We forgot milk and she gave us a carton without making a fuss. The balcony view is amazing, with the lake and Kaprun Gletscher in sight. We came to ski at Kaprun, Zell am See and Salbach, and the house is close to the slope. In the morning you can ski down, then take the Areitexpress to stay in Zell am See or catch a bus at the base to Kaprun. Just be aware that the road up to the house is narrow. Good winter tires or chains would be sensible, though we didn't need ours. It wouldn't put me off. The apartment had what we needed for a ski trip: microwave, electric stove that works with any pan, fridge, coffee machine, tea, bathroom towels, and bedsheets provided. So nice not having to bring your own, which is such a pain elsewhere. Great people and a cozy place. I'd definitely come back to Zell am See. Warm regards, and have fun skiing, guys! The apartment is lovely and has everything needed, and the balcony looks out onto a beautiful view. It's a great spot to unwind. Just keep in mind that the access road is steep and very winding.
