It’s spacious, clean, cozy, and picturesque, with good soundproofing and a quiet setting. The kitchen is convenient and well-stocked, though it has no shot glasses. The bathroom curtain is awkward, the kettle is small, and there are no shelves in the hallway.

The reception is in the center of Zell am See, where you can check in. Our ground-floor apartment had three rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and an external balcony overlooking the mountains. The decor is distinctive and clean. Its location between Zell am See and Kaprun is special and away from the noise. The only drawback was that it didn’t include a Zell am See card.

The apartment has enough amenities to justify its price. It’s good value for money, though the price isn’t at hostel level.

The front-row mountain view was great, and I especially liked the electronic underfloor heating since it was very warm. Everything was very clean and nicely furnished. I’d love to come back.

I come back to this house every year. It’s one of the best places to stay, and the owner is respectful, friendly, and helpful to everyone.
