Lakeside-Luxury Apartments

We were five, two adults and three kids, and everyone loved the apartment. There was plenty of room, and it was finished to a very high standard. The kids especially enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, and the ski slope is only a short walk away. Matthias was a perfect host.

There was lots of space and plenty of bathrooms, but our weekend at Lakeside Luxury Apartments in Zell am See was a terrible experience. We were four young men and had expected more from the luxury website photos. For our four-night stay, each person got just one towel. Basic things like butter, oil, hand soap, and enough coffee capsules were missing, and the coffee machine leaked every time. The outdoor pool was too cold to use comfortably. Our electric car was in a reserved spot behind the complex when someone vandalized the driver's side mirror. There were no security cameras, so it remains unresolved. The general manager couldn't help with an insurance claim or filing a report, and offered only a roll of Action-quality tape. After we got home, our credit card was charged EUR 385 for one 63 kWh charging session, about 10 times the market rate. We were passed around and got no compensation for what seemed to be fraudulent practices. Do not book!

It only takes a 5-minute walk to reach the Areitbahn, and the new apartments are top-notch. The pool and wellness area were great for relaxing, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We found the price-performance ratio impressive. We had an amazing stay at Lakeside Luxury and will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

The owners were caring and helpful throughout our stay, and their hospitality was the best. They also gave us a guest pass with discounts for activities in the city. Our family found the rooms spacious and comfortable, with lovely views outside. The kitchen and the rest of the place were clean and tidy. We'd totally recommend staying here.
