The quiet street made for a good night's sleep, while public transport and the main attractions were only a short walk away. For the price, the personalized experience felt like great value, and much more personal than at a big chain hotel. We were welcomed warmly at the front desk and given a map, along with useful local tips for cafes and sights we wouldn't have found ourselves. Our room was spotless and cozy, with everything we needed, including a comfortable bed with crisp linens and a modern, clean bathroom. It was a peaceful place to come back to after a long day exploring. Pension Max was a fantastic choice for our city trip. Thanks to the whole team for making our stay so pleasant. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was tasty, and it’s a dog-friendly place. We felt well looked after too: the hosts were friendly and helped with everything we needed. The location is great, and I’d happily recommend staying here.

Even with all the rain, we had a lovely stay. The spacious, modern rooms were quiet at night, and we slept really well without hearing the trains. We were right across from the lake and close to the centre. Sanne shared great ideas for exploring the region, and Lisa’s breakfast buffet was a lovely start to each day. Thanks for having us!

The Sommer Card covered everything I needed while I was in Zell, and the place is wonderfully close to the lake. Sanne was one of the most enthusiastic, witty, knowledgeable, outgoing and down-to-earth team members I’ve met. She kindly shared her Strava, which had loads of amazing hikes. I highly recommend the place and would stay again in Zell.
