We stayed for a week as a family and had a lake-view room with warm, spacious, well-insulated rooms. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was decent. It’s five minutes to the center and five minutes to Postplatz, where you can catch a bus to the lifts. There are train tracks behind the hotel, but they didn’t bother us. We knew in advance there was no lift. The ski room has boot heaters that warm your boots overnight.

Room 1 was badly laid out. The toilet was squeezed into one side of the room and the bath was separate, apparently because of the drainage connection to the shared toilet in the corridor. There was barely room to move, and the toilet seat was broken. It felt about as cramped as an airplane toilet. The hotel is right beside the railway, so trains were loud at night. With the window shut there was no ventilation. Parking on the property was very limited, and the facilities didn't feel worth the price.

The rooms were huge and the location was right in the centre. Staff were caring, and breakfast was delicious. We had a great stay, with just two drawbacks: there’s no lift, and other guests made some noise in the corridor late at night.

The rooms are a good size for two, though check before booking because some are small. Service was clean and generally good, and the breakfast staff were very friendly. It’s not far from the centre. If your room faces the lake, though, the train noise can be quite loud.

The location is a real plus, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was decent too. There are five free parking spaces, available first come, first served. You can also park on the blue line along the road for free from 6pm to 8am.
