Apart Huditz

The Huditz family welcomed us so warmly, and our apartment was just right for three people. Even with the coronavirus situation feeling tense, we had a wonderful stay and could check in at 11:00 a.m. Thank you so much for everything. We hope to return next year when things are hopefully more relaxed.

The owners were friendly, and the apartment was warm. The kitchenette was equipped.

We were very happy with our stay and would recommend it. The hosts were friendly and quick to sort out any little problem, even replacing a light bulb or the remote control batteries. There’s a gym and ski storage with an electric boot dryer in the basement. A bus stop by the house serves the Zillertal Arena lifts, but that bus only stops there twice in the morning. Walk 150-200 meters along the street and you’ll reach a stop with a Skibus every 20 minutes. We rented what may have been the smallest apartment, but it was more than enough for two on our first winter holiday in Austria, where skiing was the main goal. It had a large, cozy room with a big digital TV, and a small kitchen stocked with everything from a kettle to a dishwasher. There were enough dishes to cook whatever we wanted. The bathroom had a shower cabin and heated floors. Even the plates and pillows followed the same style, with deer drawings.

My earlier review was a bit of a misnomer. The Huditz Pansió always deserves 5 stars. My wife Andrea and I have stayed there at least twice a year since 1982, and sometimes three times a year, for 7-10 days each visit. It’s a comfortable, clean, very nice pansió, and the Huditz family are always friendly and ready to help if anything comes up. This year we spent 15 days there for a ski holiday starting in February. We’re planning a 10-day summer holiday in Zell am Ziller in August.
