Breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh fruit and vegetables, local cheeses, homemade jams and several kinds of juice. You could also order dishes such as scrambled or fried eggs with mushrooms or ham, pancakes, and French toast. The owners, especially Christian, were outstandingly hospitable. Our room didn’t face the valley or mountains, but we still enjoyed it and liked relaxing on the balcony in the evenings. The place and its owners are doing a fantastic job, and we wish them all the best.

The meal was outstanding. Every dish felt refined and creative, made with regional ingredients, and I enjoyed each one, which isn’t often the case for me. The team made my birthday feel very personal from the moment we arrived. They’d asked in advance about my pregnancy so they could adapt the menu, a thoughtful and professional gesture. Our waitress was incredibly sweet, and everyone else was just as warm and attentive. The mountain view, atmosphere and impeccable service were amazing. They even brought out a special birthday dessert that wasn’t on the menu, with a candle. It really touched me. This restaurant in Tyrol feels magical, and we’ll be back when we’re in Zell am Ziller.

The food was excellent, both in taste and quality, and the portions were European-sized. The staff were friendly and knew the menu well. The dining room has a classic Tirol look with lots of wood, and the menu is more sophisticated than what you find at most restaurants in the Zillertal valley. We went for dinner on a Friday in January. Getting there means driving up a hairpin corner road, and parking is somewhat limited, but the trip is definitely worth it.

Every bite of the food had a story of its own, and the sommelier recommended wonderful wines from an impressive cellar, both in quality and range. The restaurant manager even met us in the parking lot and showed us to our table. From the entrance, you could tell the place had history, and it really does. It’s in the middle of a beautiful little village, about 10 minutes from central Mayrhofen. We came while our country was at war, and the wonderful Somalia understood what was happening and showed support for us and our path. It was perfect. I’ll definitely return many more times, and recommend booking a table if you’re in the area. Am Israel Hi!!!

We had our best stay here: an amazing apartment with a fabulous view, very clean and equipped with all the amenities. The loving, caring family made the experience even better. It’s very close to Zillertal Arena, which was great for skiing. A five-star stay! 💫🤩
