The apartment fridge gave us trouble, but Daniel handled it promptly and conveniently. He even called with an update and arranged another room for us. The only other letdown was the lack of air conditioning. For the first three days the rooms felt quite hot, which seemed unexpected for a 5 star hotel. We had a great family stay at DasPosthotel. Having separate rooms along with shared living and kitchen areas gave us both privacy and room to be together. The rooms were very clean, with lovely views of the nearby snowy mountaintops, and the welcome and staff were friendly. Breakfast had plenty of healthy choices, including authentic Tyrolean smoked speck and shincken, which set us up nicely for hiking. Svetlana and Iosif made an effort to make breakfast feel special each day. We also loved the pastries at MalisGarten across the street. I'd recommend DasPosthotel to families or anyone after a relaxing break with good hiking nearby.

The dinners were a real highlight, and breakfast was generous, with a buffet and egg dishes made to order. We enjoyed afternoon tea at the neighbouring partner hotel MarlisGarden so much that we thought it might have been a better place for us to stay. Drinks cost extra, and we spent another 500 euros, including alcohol during the day and with meals. The bar tender Simone was especially friendly and entertaining, and made great cocktails. Staff were all pleasant and handled Christmas dinner timings well, though service was a little slow on the other dinner nights. We were at DasPosthotel for three nights, 23rd to 26th December 2025, on the Magic for Christmas package, which cost 2,000GBP for two people. It came with plenty of extras, including cookies on arrival, a 50 euro spa voucher, full spa access, and a carriage ride with mulled wine. The cookies were a lovely touch. The spa was very busy, so availability was limited. I got a manicure for 80 euros, but didn't think it was worth the price or very good, even though the nail tech was lovely and I enjoyed relaxing. We weren't told when to book the carriage ride, and by the time we asked at reception the next day, we'd missed it. We were told someone would discuss another time with us, but that didn't happen after we asked again the following day. They did kindly compensate us at checkout. Our sky loft suite, Hendrick, had excellent views, a spacious feel, and a bathtub overlooking the scenery. The beds were two singles pushed together. At check-in we were offered something to cover the gap, asked for it, but it never arrived. The TV had a Netflix button, but only audio played when we tried to log in. Reception said someone would look into it, but no one did. The room got warm at night, though opening a window or door or using the AC helped. There was a fridge, but minibar items had to be requested through the app. The room was tidied each morning, though not thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom was very nice, with lovely natural toiletries, a shower with a sauna feature we didn't get to try, and a separate WC. We couldn't figure out the towel rail heater or extractor fan, so the bathroom steamed up a bit. We were content with the room, but compared with other luxury hotels we've stayed in, it fell short. Overall, we were satisfied with the stay but disappointed by some of these issues, 7/10.

The Christmas Eve Gala Dinner at Die Marie was excellent, and the hotel breakfast was perfect each morning. Our family of four spent Christmas week at Das Post Hotel in a three room suite, with plenty of space for everyone, especially appreciated by our two teenagers. The staff went out of their way to make the visit special. Getting to ski at Zillertal Arena was easy, either a 15 minute walk or a 4 minute ski bus ride. Hotel guests can use complimentary ski lockers at the gondola base, with integrated boot and glove dryers, which was brilliant. Each afternoon we relaxed in the pool, hot tub, and sauna after skiing. The bar stayed open until midnight for a late cocktail or wine. I'd highly recommend the hotel and hope to return.

We spent 10 days at DasPosthotel this summer and had a really good time throughout. The staff service, room, breakfast, and other facilities were all very good. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

The breakfast was amazing, and I loved being able to order from the menu as well as choose from the buffet. The juicing station was a nice touch. Staff were so helpful and went above and beyond, and the outdoor heated pool and spa were a lovely way to unwind after skiing. I'd love to stay here again if I'm in the area.
