We only ate at the restaurant and weren’t staying at the hotel. We came for dinner with our two boys, aged 1 and 7. The baby was hungry and, as little ones often are, restless. The waitress spoke loudly enough for everyone to hear when she told us to be more respectful of the other guests. We know we may have been a little noisier than usual, but the way she handled it felt uncomfortable and inappropriate. If the restaurant wants a quiet or adults-only setting, it should make that clear beforehand.

The Thai buffet and other meals were especially good, and the service was absolutely great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Thanks for a lovely place to spend time.

We enjoyed dinner here and were happy with all the dishes. Our waitress was lovely and polite.

The food was below average. I asked for a medium-well steak and it arrived rare. They also hadn’t told me it was cash only. After the meal, they wanted me to go to an ATM and leave my phone with them, which I refused. I said they should have warned me when I came in. I offered to have someone walk with me to the ATM so I could pay in cash, but they refused. Then they said card payments had a €50 minimum, although my bill was €34. They said they’d call the boss, and I told them to call the police instead. When the boss was reached, she said in German to take the card payment without any extra charge.

We went back a couple of times because the food was so good. The Wiener schnitzel and spaghetti were both delicious, as was a daily special whose name I can’t even pronounce. Even the burger, which isn’t a traditional menu item there, beat what I’ve had at some burger places. Definitely recommend the restaurant!
