You can walk to cross-country ski tracks that stretch for miles in every direction, even though the accommodation is off the beaten track. The host was very friendly, and the rooms were clean, warm, and comfortable. Lovely place at a great price. Highly recommended!

Mrs. Durst was a friendly, helpful host who shared lots of great recommendations. There’s so much to do in the beautiful surroundings, and we really enjoyed our time in Schattwald. Our balcony apartment had an amazing view, everything we needed, and was spotlessly clean. We felt very comfortable and lacked nothing. Highly recommended, and we’d love to come back :)
