Lutz Alpenblick B&B

The balcony is lovely for winding down in the evening, with mountain views all around. Our room had been newly renovated and furnished, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was good, with good coffee, in a bright, cozy room.

The guest card covers buses and cable cars, and the hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. Our room with a balcony was tidy and very clean, and the breakfast buffet had a great selection. You can enjoy the sunset from the balcony or terrace with juice, wine, or whatever you fancy. Great value for money.

The breakfast was delicious, with a generous choice of cheeses, cold cuts, yogurt, eggs made in different ways, rolls, and fresh fruit and vegetables. We also liked the cozy common room, where the drinks fridge was well stocked and very reasonably priced. The owners gave us a lovely welcome, and our clean room had a balcony with a fantastic view. Gasthof Alpenblick is easy to reach and wonderfully situated. We’d love to come back.

It’s an easy five-minute walk to downhill and cross-country skiing in Schattwald, even for beginners. The value for money is excellent, the food is outstanding, and everything was spotlessly clean. I haven’t had a dinner this good in ages. Bernhard, the owner, really knows how to season meat, and he does it so well. His wife Stefanie is incredibly organized, funny, and always on the go. Both hosts were super friendly, and breakfast had everything you could want. We absolutely have to come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
