S'Kathrina - Appartements

We’ve already booked another week at Apartment Val at S'Kathrina for next year. I’ve been visiting the Tannheimer Valley for decades, and the Müller family’s warmth, comfort, and luxurious apartments still stand out. We’re heading home now after a wonderfully relaxing stay in a lovely setting, and it’s simply unique.

The owners’ kindness and thoughtful touches made this mountain stay especially welcoming. We had a little trouble communicating since they don’t speak Italian and we don’t speak German, but we got by with some English. The apartment had just about everything, from an umbrella and slippers to hair straighteners, and the terrace looking out over the mountains was lovely for meals in the fresh air. We stayed with my husband and dog in a charming wooden apartment managed by Mrs. Muller. From the private garden, we could see the peaceful swimming lake, which is for guests and had loungers, sunscreen, towels, and slippers. The clear water and views of the greenery and blue sky were a great way to cool off after a day in the mountains, especially with the lake just steps away. The private sauna felt like having a little spa to ourselves. There were sunbeds, an infrared lamp, a shower, herbal tea, and flavored water. Each apartment gets its own time slot, so it really was private. Fresh bread was delivered each day, and waking up to that smell made breakfast something to look forward to. We also appreciated the guest card, which gave us free access to the three nearby cable cars. A peaceful spot with beautiful mountain scenery.

We were four adults and three children in Apartment Lain for a long weekend, and it felt like home. The rooms were quiet and spotless, and the place was tastefully furnished with loads of useful things, from kitchen utensils and bathroom amenities to board games. The hosts greeted us so warmly, and we enjoyed the bread delivery on every day it was available. We had a lovely stay and would happily recommend it.

The Müller family were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and we really enjoyed their bread roll service. We stayed in the "Lain" apartment in September 2022, and it was spotless, inviting, and beautifully put together, with stylish furnishings and lovely little details. It’s well placed for lots of activities, and the high quality left us wanting for nothing. We’d be glad to return and recommend the family’s accommodations.
