Franziska and Stefan were such welcoming, helpful hosts, and the generous breakfast each morning was delicious. We stayed at Gastehaus Almhof in Zoblen for two weeks last month, and our apartment was lovely and spotless, with a full kitchen, big bedroom, living and dining area, and a gorgeous deck. The views were breathtaking. This was my fourth visit to Tannheim Valley, and staying at Almhof made it our best trip yet. It’s in a lovely village with mountain views, a bakery, a hotel restaurant, and a boutique restaurant. We felt so relaxed and hated to leave. We highly recommend staying with them, you’ll be very happy.

The hosts were so kind, and we felt completely at home during our April stay. Our room was kept spotless and had a breathtaking view. Breakfast was fantastic, with regional and homemade products. Thanks so much, and all the best!

We’ve been coming to Schattwald/Zöblen for more than 50 years and needed to find somewhere new to stay a few years ago. After looking at lots of places, the Müller family was the only one with a room free on our dates, and we’re so glad we found them. The rooms are spotless and have everything needed for a great holiday. Breakfast is generous, with lots of choice, and Franzi and Stefan are incredibly kind. We feel at home every time and love coming back each year. Here’s to many more visits.

The mountain views were lovely 🥰, and there was parking available. The owners were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and we felt comfortable the whole stay. Highly recommend!

I needed a quiet place at short notice and was completely happy with this guesthouse. I stayed two nights and spent the days mountain biking. It’s not a luxury palace, but I don’t need one when I’m out biking. The rooms were very clean, and the owners were friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely come back to Zöblen as a base for my other tours.
