We loved the hotel's character and farmhouse style, and the surroundings were beautiful, with a castle in the background. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. We were only passing through and wished we'd had longer. We'll surely come back, this time with the kids.
Extra special at Christmas.
They gave us a truly warm, friendly welcome. We could have meals in the breakfast room or in our rooms. There was also a guest fridge we could use as we liked, with payment worked out from a list.
Fantastic food and superb service in a beautiful old house that's kept in excellent condition. The young staff were highly motivated. Breakfast came with the overnight stay, and bringing our three dogs was no problem.
The house sits in one of the most beautiful parts of the Waldviertel region. People were friendly, the room was lovely, and breakfast was wonderful. If you want a simple, relaxing holiday without all the extras of a hotel spa, this is a good fit. I'd happily come back.
