We were in Glenelg for the Australian National Beach Handball Tournament and had a great stay. You’re right by the beach, so the location couldn’t be better. The room was cosy and clean. There’s no cooking in the room, but they do provide plates and a microwave.

The rooms are roomy, comfortable and clean, and the staff were lovely. It’s an easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Great location and good price!

The room had a bit of a stuffy smell, though I enjoyed my stay otherwise. We weren’t given the after-hours instructions ahead of time, so finding the reception number was difficult. With the tram or light rail under construction, the bus was the only public transport option.

The king beds were really comfortable, and free parking was a nice bonus. Reception service was good, and it’s close to the beach and restaurants. Great value for the money. I’d stay again and recommend it.

We booked two nights but left after the first one. There was constant noise from workers outside our room, and cigarette smoke kept getting in and making the room stink. When I came back that morning after being out for a few hours, ants were eating at some kind of bug, with more ants coming through a crack in the baseboard. There was also a cockroach in the bathroom. I went straight to the front desk to ask for a refund for the second night because we didn’t want to stay. The woman cut me off, went to the room and picked up the bugs, then offered a complimentary breakfast as the most she could do. She wouldn’t even change our room. We had to book another hotel for the second night because the room felt unsanitary and uncomfortable.
