The food came out quickly and was very tasty, and moving indoors to a booth made dinner much more comfortable. We started out in the courtyard for a Thursday get-together with old friends, but it was hard to hear each other there. There were only two people at the bar serving both inside and outside, so service took a while. They knew their way around the unusual drinks people ordered. There are lots of car parks, especially around the back, and the toilets were clean and disabled friendly. I'd recommend booking a table.

The cheesecake was a deliciously odd mix of flavours, and I don't usually order dessert. The Biscoff one was such a treat. We were just there for dinner, and the dining area has been updated nicely. My steak was perfect, and the wedges alongside it were seasoned so well. The cocktails were delicious and nicely presented too. The staff were polite and helpful. A lovely evening.

The beef schnitty was spot on, with a great typical pub menu. I came to meet friends for a meal in the dining area. There was heaps of parking on Tuesday night, though weekends are probably much busier. Bar service was great. Recommended.

The service was alright and the ambience is still pleasant. The location is excellent too, which is one reason we've returned several times. But yesterday's meal was a letdown compared with my past visits, which have usually been good. The beef was noticeably overcooked and the potatoes on the side were soggy, so the flavour and texture suffered. There was also a mix-up: the scotch fillet we'd ordered was confused with a porterhouse. I'm not sure what went wrong this time, but we left disappointed.
