The heated indoor pool was lovely, and it wasn't crowded during the week. We also ate in the dining room every day, for either lunch or dinner, and were never disappointed with the meals. The rooms are a little dated, but clean, with comfortable beds, good air conditioning and amenities. For the price, it's a GREAT stay, and every staff member, right down to the cleaner, was fabulous. We stayed three nights and found the staff very helpful and committed. I booked through booking.com, and just before arrival checked whether our room was on the ground floor because I have a disability and can't manage stairs. Shift manager Angela kindly explained it was upstairs and offered a downstairs room for two nights, with a room change needed on the third. We were fine with that and very grateful. On the third day, they managed to find us another downstairs room after some juggling, and let us stay put until it was ready. We appreciated that so much. We'll be back.

We stayed four nights and the bar staff were really great. The food was excellent, and the service was good too. We're both elderly, and having to get into the bath to shower felt risky. We just hoped we wouldn't slip. Please make things more suitable for older guests.

I had my birthday lunch at the bistro and was very happy with it. The vegetable and salad bar was good, and the slow-cooked beef main was so tender, with an amazing sauce on top. Definitely recommend it.

We stayed with our young grandchildren in the family room. The room was average and the food okay. The pool was great until some young junkies turned up drinking cans of bourbon and smoking around young toddlers. There are signs against smoking and drinking, but nobody was there to enforce them. The gaming room was full of junkies too. It was a major turn-off. We won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend it for families.
