A quaint, quiet pub with plenty of parking. Our party arrived late as a last-minute walk-in, and the staff were very accommodating. I had bangers and mash, and others had schnitzel. There’s a small salad bar too. Nothing over the top, just a nice place to stop for a decent meal if you’re after something not too fancy.

The food was a massive feed. This big guy struggled and needed a takeaway container! It was our first time here, for an anniversary dinner with my partner, and we couldn’t fault the staff, service, cleanliness, or food. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks, crew 😎

I stayed Saturday night and was impressed by the service and meals. After I left on Sunday morning, the staff called half an hour later to tell me I’d left my wallet in the room. I was really impressed by how quickly and honestly they got it back to me. Thank you 😊

I’ve eaten at this hotel for years, but unless something changes, I won’t return. My usual favourite, the chicken schnitzel, used to be delicious. The last two times, though, the chicken, if you can call it that, was thin, chewy, and unappetising. It feels like they’re cutting costs for more profit. When I pay to eat out, I expect a homemade schnitzel, not one premade from a supermarket. I think it’s time to find somewhere else that serves the real thing.

The salad bar was amazing, and everything was very clean. We had a fantastic lunch today, with fish, steak, turkey, and lamb korma. All the meals were hot, tasty, and fresh. The staff really impressed me. Highly recommend this place!
